Two first half goals helped Moyola Park to a comfortable victory over Dollingstown in the first game at Mill Meadow this season.
Tiarnan Rafferty opened the scoring for Moyola after just ten minutes when he was teed up by Kyle Beggs.
Beggs then doubled the lead himself on 23 minutes to fire Mervyn Pattison’s side into a commanding lead.
The visitors had a couple of chances in the first half that went wide of the mark and when the home keeper presented them with a chance on 40 minutes they couldn’t take advantage and hit the bar.
Then, in the opening minute of the second half, Richard Thompson set up Glenn Hand but he fired wide. That turned out to be Dollingstown’s only real chance for the remainder of the game as Moyola ran out comfortable winners.
