Moyola travelled to a cold Seahaven on Saturday to take on Portstewart FC in the Bluefin Premier Intermediate League. The first big chance of the game came from the visitors when a good cross into the box from Evans, comes of the head of a Moyola player headed off the bar 5 minutes into the game. Both teams had chances at goal but both keepers done well to deny any goal scoring opportunities. 35 minutes into the first half, the first goal of the game came from the visitors from a strike from the edge of the box from Evans straight into the bottom corner of the net. A great finish on his first goal for the first team. A few minutes later Moyola extended their league when Paul puts the ball through the keeper’s legs to put his side 2-0 up. With 5 minutes remaining to half time, Moyola found the net again from a corner into the box where McQuillan was there to head it into the net. Moyola were sitting comfortably going into half time.

10 minutes into the second half, Moyola continued their goal scoring streak with a great strike from Robinson into the bottom left corner of the net. A few minutes later, a Moyola corner into the box where Taggart was there to head it but it went just slightly high over the bar. Moyola continued to push forward with a great strike from Bubba from about 20 yards out but Portstewarts keeper made a great save to stop it going in the net. With only 20 minutes of the game remaining, Portstewart got one back when a slight mistake from the Moyola defence lead to the home team scoring. Moyola bounced back well from this with a good finish from McCann to make it 5-1. On the last minute of the game, Moyola were close to making it 6 with a shot from McCann, bounced back out and Paul was on the rebound but Portstewarts keeper got his hand on it to put it over the bar. The game at Seahaven finished 5-1 to the visitors.
