Moyola Park FC U10’s

Moyola Park under 10’s (2007) (Sponsored by Henry Brothers (Magherafelt) were at a depleted small sided games centre with only 3 teams, 2 of which were Moyola Park and Olympic. The Games centre was still a platform for players to express themselves a bit and try new things.  There were some great goals scored not by any individual but team goals, and that’s what the players in our squad have, a good team ethic.  It doesn’t matter who scores but more that “We” score.  A couple of standout performances again were from Luca for Moyola Park, playing in a defensive role which gives him the freedom to burst forward at times and one of those runs was rewarded with a great goal.  Another stand out performer was Katie for Olympic, she has a natural flair and composure rarely seen in a footballer at this age, and again was rewarded with a goal from a move started and finished by herself.  Moyola Park had 2 wins whilst Moyola Olympic had a defeat and a win.  Goals on the night were scored by Luke, Cahan, Luca, Niall, Charlie, Katie and Ruben.
