Moyola Park Association Football Club – Monday 16th March 2009

IFA Interim League

Moyola entertained the PSNI at the Coagh Sports Arena on Saturday and extended their unbeaten run to 5 games with a 2-1 victory with both goals being scored by Workman.

Moyola Park Olympic

The Olympic entertained 3rd Ballyclare Old Boys on Saturday and lost 4-2 with the goals coming from C Hassan & N Speer.

Moyola Park Ladies AFC
 

Moyola Park Ladies have started up again for the new season and training takes place indoor/outdoor @ St Mary’s Grammar School, Magherafelt every Monday night from 7.00pm to 8.30pm and anyone seeking to join the team to participate this season or seeking any other information should contact either Jillian Lennox (07821599369) or Valerie Martin (07754450988).

MIM North West & Coleraine District Youth League

The under 12’s lost 2-0 at home to Coleraine in a friendly game.

The under 14’s beat Glebeside 2-0.

The under 16’s had no game on Saturday.

Training Details
 

Under 12 – Training on Tuesday nights in Meadowbank have now ended, and training will now take place on Saturday mornings in Moyola Park from 10.00am -11.30am, cost £1.50/session. Players should bring boots and shin pads. However resumption on Tuesday nights is envisaged when the brighter evenings return - possibly 21 April (TBC). Under 14 - Training on a Tuesday night @ the Meadowbank Arena, Magherafelt has now concluded and for more information on training contact – Gregory Stewart on 07712836580.

Under 16 - Training takes place indoor/outdoor @ St Mary’s Grammar School, Magherafelt every Monday night from 7.00pm to 8.15pm and for more information contact - Steven Ewing on 07809298866.

Moyola Park AFC Football Development Centre

The Moyola Park Football Development Centre (formerly known as Moyola Park AFC Mini Soccer Centre) will reopen on Saturday 21st March 2009 @ 10.15 in Moyola Park, Bridge Street, Castledawson and will finish @ 11.30am. The cost per week is only £1.50 which is excellent value for coaching by IFA qualified coaches. The Football Development Centre is open to all boys and girls of primary school age and parents are asked to bring their children along by 10.15am in order to give sufficient time for registration and thus allow the coaching to commence at 10.30am sharp. Co-Operative Insurance Football Juggling Skills Challenge.

Moyola Park Football Development Centre is currently taking part in the Co-Operative Insurance Football Juggling Skills Challenge. Replica Kits and Training Gear

We now have available replica kits for the boys and girls at the mini soccer and also replica kits, training gear and other accessories on sale to the youth teams and the general public. For a list of available gear and prices contact Jillian Lennox (07821599369).

Moyola Park FC Supporters’ Club Lucky Numbers


The Lucky Numbers drawn for Wednesday 11th March 2009 were 10, 12, 14 and 16. The £50 consolation prize was won by Gwennie Stewart. The Jackpot Prize for Wednesday 18th March 2009 stands at £5000. Tickets are available in the Social Club or from committee members and please note that the jackpot has now been capped at £5000.
