Moyola Park travelled to the Glen Road Heights on Saturday to play their second league game in the new Premier Intermediate League against Sport & Leisure Swifts. Moyola Park Manager Mervyn Pattison was looking for his win of the season after losing the previous three games.
The opening goal came in the 29th minute when the home side’s Cavanagh scored from 20 yards to beat Farniok in the visitor’s goal.
Moyola Park equalised in the 42nd minute when Rafferty scored his 3rd goal in as many games and the same player scored again in the 63rd minute to make the score 2-1 and gain a vital 3 points for the visitors.
