Moyola Park travelled to Belfast on Saturday to take on Donegal Celtic in a leaguie game with one point separating both teams. Moyola Park manager Mervyn Pattison welcomed McQuillan back into the starting line up although he had Doey and McIlhatton unavailable.

The side opened the scoring in the 36th minute when Monaghan headed past Farniok in the visitors goal and this was the only goal of the first half.

The visitors equalised in the 50th minute when Rafferty scored his eight goal in his first five games.

The home side regained the lead in the 65th minute with Monaghan scoring his second header and this gave the home side the three points.

Moyola Park’s next game is on Saturday 24th September 2016 when they travel to Melvin Park in Strabane for a quarter final tie in the North West Craig Memorial Cup.
