Moyola Park Youth U11’s
Moyola Park under 11’s (2006) (Sponsored by Henry Brothers (Magherafelt) enjoyed a great day in the Harry Gregg Foundation small sided games centre under 11 blitz in Coleraine on Saturday. Our boys displayed probably the best team skills all season with some excellent play- with all our players getting a run out. The boys all enjoyed a well deserved treat after the games with a trip to McDonald’s afterwards. We can only look forward to the next season ahead and continue to build on this super team- Well done boy’s excellent work. Goals were scored by Connor (2), Evan (2), Finton 1, Michael 1, Regan 1.
Moyola Park Youth U10’s
Moyola Park under 10’s (2007) (Sponsored by Henry Brothers (Magherafelt) took part in the IFA small sided games centre at the Mill Meadow on Friday night and this was a good test for our young lads. Moyola Park recorded two convincing wins and clean sheets in each of the 2 games played. Goals scored by Luke, Luca and Joel D. A few goals for Luke, typically well hit and neatly finished, Joel D with a few goals full of endeavour to finish off his own hard work and a superb headed goal by Luca, which showed that a coaching session on corners reaped rewards. The whole team played well and some slick passing throughout wrapped up a very pleasing night for the boys. Moyola Olympic also played very well this evening with some simple pass and move play. Cahan scored a couple of well taken goals to match his energy and enthusiasm. One goal to mention was an individual effort from Ruben who glided through players and tackles but still managed to calmly strike a low shot from wide right. A really well rounded performance from the team. Goals scored by Ruben and Cahan for Moyola Olympic.
